By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Holiday Hub publishes South African school term dates, public holidays and related planning tools. The dates come from official sources: the school calendars published by the Department of Basic Education and the provincial education departments, and the public holidays set out in the Public Holidays Act. We check them and we record where each one came from.

Even so, official calendars are amended, provinces differ, and individual schools set their own closing and opening days within the published term dates. Before you book anything or make a plan that depends on a date, confirm it with your own school or with the official publication. The information here is provided as it is, for general information, and it is not advice.

This site is free to use and is paid for by sponsored links.
